I am a working mom that loves interior design and wanted to update my house but didn’t have the time. Kam was amazing and went above and beyond what I expected. She completely got my view of what I was looking for after our first consultation and was able to meet with all the contractors required while I was working. She made sure everything was perfect and easy for me. I cannot recommend her enough and she stayed within my budget making my house look totally renovated. I am more than pleased with the results and would definitely use her again for any future projects.

Rochester, MI Professional Interior Decorator

Rochester is a city on the northside of Detroit located in Oakland Township. It was founded in 1817 by the Graham family who built a log cabin on the location. The city was named after the city of Rochester, New York as many of the settlers in the area were originally from New York. The settlement grew rapidly thanks to the thriving industry provided by the Clinton river and Paint Creek. In little time they grew to prosperity. Currently Rochester is home to manly annual cultural events such as Christmas parades and light shows. The town is also home to a number of parks and landmarks.

Rochester Resources

Arts & Apples Festival – The Art & Apples Festival is a program of Paint Creek Center for the Arts which has run for 50+ years in Rochester. The festival gives local children the chance to participate in the local arts experiences such as performing on a stage or using the “Kids Art Zone” for painting and arts and crafts. There are also apple picking opportunities for attendees of all ages.

Downtown Rochester – Downtown Rochester is a hub of communal shopping areas which have been revitalized thanks to the Rochester Downtown Development Authority or DDA. The goal of the area is to host events throughout the year for all people of Rochester and assist the area in maximizing economic stability and connectivity in the downtown area. The organization works together to increase cooperation, ethics, and the business standards for downtown Rochester.

Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve – Dinosaur Hill was built initially from an area seen as “unusable” by local developers. Locals from Rochester decided to revive the area for its use as a nature preserve. Over time interest and development began to pique in the neighborhood. Developments such as a nature cabin, a bridge, and a small work area began to emerge in Dinosaur Hill. The community eventually saw another use in bringing students to Dinosaur hill for educational field trips and hikes.
