“Kam went out of her way to make sure we loved all of our purchases. She exchanged items when necessary and took lots of time with us. She used our budget wisely and was very truthful and honest. Even our two dogs loved her when she came over! Our home has never looked more beautiful.”

Interior Decorator Bloomfield Hills, MI

Bloomfield Hillsย was formed on April 28th, 1820 when Oakland County was divided into two townships: Pontiac and Bloomfield townships. Bloomfield covered the southern part of the county. The land that is now known as Bloomfield Hills was previously just farmland until wealthy Detroit residents bought the land at the turn of the 20th century. Bloomfield Hills became a village in 1927, then residents voted to become a city in 1932 to avoid being incorporated into Birmingham. Bloomfield Hills is home to the historic Cranbrook Educational Community, which is on the register of national historic sites.

The family deeded the home to the Cranbrook foundation in 1944, all of its contents were sealed in a trust and the estate remains open to this day. It also consists of the Cranbrook House & Gardens Auxiliary, and the Cranbrook Center for Collections & Research.
